Recently, I had a very nice discussion about what I played in my childhood.
In reality, I played Pogs just a couple of times (I was not able to play :D). But I collected them. These are also so colorful; generally, they have Pokemon characters. But also, the children can play with flatted bottle caps. (Not so nice, but a cheaper solution). Why do I remember still pogs :) this behind…
I fell from the third floor when I was ten years old. :P I survived with no problem. At that time, my cousin gave me his Pogs as a gift. For me, it was a big event :P I still remember how I was happy while having a trouble body (my face, my leg, and my arm were so bad). Pogs Games remind my fall-down story.
Anyway, I started to google it.. what is the history of pogs, and what is the current status of it.
The game dates back to the classic Japanese game of Menko.. When Japanese immigrants settled in Hawaii, the current version was born at Hawaii schoolyards; it was called Pogs, also Milk caps game. and later spread all over the world.
